Looking for a front row seat at the 2023 Canadian Open ?

We are in need of lots of help to make this event happen! From setup to formal jobs at the event, we would love your help!

Setup:

Wednesday, September 6, 2023

We are looking for volunteers to help set up the venue . 8:00am - 8:00pm

Volunteering for the entire day is not required, any help with set up will be appreciated.

Competitors may volunteer to set up on Wednesday.

Competition Day Jobs:

Thursday to Sunday - September 7-10, 2023

We are looking for the following Volunteer Jobs to be filled:

Ring Crew

Ring Crew will be responsible to set bars in the ring, adjust timing eyes  and be the leash runner.
May also be used for the "Public Access" desk, to welcome the public into the build and direct to their designated area.

We are looking for the following Paid Jobs to be filled:

**All those interested in a Paid Job will be required to attend a Week Event Briefing the early evening of Wednesday, September 6th.
Requirement will include attentence at event at start time (approx 6:30/7am) until end of day.

Timers

Responsible to operate the timing system to time each run. Timers will work closely with the Scribe.

Scribes

Responsible to enter faults and times of each run into the scoring software.
Gate Keepers

Responsible to announce running orders. Gate Keepers work with Ring Managers & Scribe.

**Timers, Scribes & Gate Keepers will be required to attend the event from start to finish - Approx 7am until 7-8pm.
There will be ample breaks throughout the day.


All Paid & Volunteer Positions be provided with Snacks, Lunches and  Volunteer Gift bags!
