The Battle is a dog agility competition hosted by and at FlatOut Dogs

The very first Battle was held in 2021, bringing together dog-and-handler teams from across the Atlantic region to crown the first-ever Atlantic Agility Battle Champions. Since then, the event has continued to grow and attract competitors from all over the country.

For three years, The Battle ran as an AAC-sanctioned Open Trial. In 2024, the event transitioned into a non-sanctioned format—and it was a hit! This fresh approach put the focus back on what agility is all about: fun, teamwork, and testing your skills in a welcoming and exciting environment!

Now, after five Battles completed, the event has firmly established itself as one of the most unique and talked-about competitions in the agility community. With chances to win tons of swag, cash prizes, and—most importantly—memories with your teammates, The Battle has become a highlight on the agility calendar.
